In a move raising serious concerns, Deputy Thornhill—embroiled in allegations of corruption, theft, and conduct unbecoming—has been promoted to Senior Deputy. This following the Blaine County Sheriff Office’s monthly meeting at which the public were allowed to attend (bold move there cotton).
At the same time, Sergeant Justice, with a spotless record and no complaints, still sits suspended. Supporters in the gallery, including Justice’s brother Vince, asked how BCSO plans to deal with holding their deputies accountable going forward. Guess promoting them and giving them “cash incentives” is the answer.
Adding fuel to the fire, Undersheriff Dayvion reportedly pleaded with Vince to avoid contacting Weazel News, claiming the promotions are automated and that the promotion group and Internal Affairs group don’t have discussions prior to this automated process from happening.
