Victor Slayter, a 22-year-old Sergeant of the Los Santos Police Department, passed away on January 27th, 2024. Sergeant Slayter was more than just a dedicated member of the force; he was a beacon of courage, compassion, and commitment to the community he served so faithfully.
Born and raised in Los Santos, Victor demonstrated an unwavering desire to protect and serve from a young age. After graduating with honors from the Los Santos Police Academy, he quickly became an exemplary officer. Victor approached every task with a rare combination of professionalism and heart, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues, superiors, and the citizens of Los Santos alike. Victor’s dedication to the department extended far beyond the line of duty. He advocated for officer wellness, mentored recruits, and was a driving force behind several community outreach programs to build trust between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they protect. His commitment to the people of Los Santos was matched only by his passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of his fellow officers.
In honor of Sergeant Slayter’s life and service, a memorial will be held at the Los Santos Police Department headquarters on Saturday, 8 PM ET, followed by a motorcade to the Hill Valley Church (269 West Eclipse Blvd, Los Santos) for burial service.
